Take the Test

I am Elizabeth Bennet!

Take the Quiz here!

In a moment of cheekiness I took this test of 'which Jane Austen heroine are you'? CP did it and I think was disappointed she came out as a minor character! Have fun doing this.

Who is Anne Elliot?
(Please don't persecute me for not knowing!)

No, I'm not Darcy. I was Elinor from Sense and Sensibility. The sensible one, not the sensitive one! And just to set the record straight, no, I wasn't at all miffed that I wasn't Lizzy. That idea came out of APs own head!!
Jess: Anne Elliot is the mature, wiser, gentler heroine. Given bad advice in love years ago, thought she'd lost her chances of happy ever after. Eyes opened to the pleasures of true gentility and decency versus the fleeting trappings of status, wealth and power. Trapped in a horrible family, not valued by anyone at all, but loved from afar by the original boyfriend, who is also wiser, gentler and more mature now. Nearly gets misled again by a charming anti-hero with no integrity, but just in time, finds out who really loves her. Hope that helps. It's from Persuasion. And now you don't have to read it, although I recommend you do, as with all Jane Austen's masterpieces (and for the smart alecs out there, they are ALL masterpieces).

...except, perhaps for Northanger Abbey.
But then, she was only just learning, and it's a fair sight better than any effort I could put together! :)
